How was your Valentine's Day? Hopefully you had a great one whether or not you're with anyone.  If you're single, don't worry...we were all at some point.  If you're dating someone and have your expectations shattered today my heart goes to you, this really is just another commercialized holiday that makes most men feel pressured and put under the spotlight.

 

You see, ,  the illusion of romantic love is why you hang onto your man so tightly.  No I'm not saying it's wrong to want to be treated nicely and like the special woman that you are on anniversaries and Holidays but don't let a day -any day- ruin the joy of the moment, give that power back to yourself that you are adored and special no matter what day it is.

 

Romance can't be generated on cue, but it is inspired through the polarized attraction to another. So want to increase his feelings of romance?  Polarize yourself to him.

And often because of that you dim the fire and push him away. All you want is just better communication, better understanding, better connection, better expression of love and care, better trust and you're not shy in expressing it but the way your man sees it how pressured, judged, misunderstood and restricted he feels.

You're of course completely blindsided, you thought you were just doing what a woman was supposed to do and you thought your love and connection was strong enough to weather the storm which was typically your recurring upset feelings especially when you felt he had violated the boundaries of a committed relationship like for example him being in close proximity of other women and you felt jealous and insecure on top other things like him forgetting to make your birthday or Valentine's Day extra special. 

It felt completely out of the blue to you but you really have seen the signs it was coming, you just weren't aware of the processing that was taking place in him. He was gradually checking out on the idea of having a life together because the life he had shared so far with you was filled with arguments and challenges...of all the stuff you felt were common and "not a big deal" even when you made his interacting with other women such a big deal.

How many women are so possessive and jealous like that?

Actually it's many. A lot of my clients are confident, successful and competent women in their careers but when it comes to love, romance, men and relationship they come undone and have a looming blind spot that becomes a hurdle in having a functional relationship with men...
