Last week we had two ladies got engaged (#21 and #22). Then I just found out another one, Shaylin, is getting married in 2 weeks. She actually told me about her engagement in May
but I didn't really notice till only recently (that's what happens when engagements and success stories are so common place in my practice I can hardly keep up :) ). So she's engagement #23 this year.
She wrote me: "Hi Kat,Looking forward to the class tonight but I may have to join the replay. I just wanted to let you know I got ENGAGED last night!
I've come a long way since finding you three years ago
and I just want to say thank you for changing my life. I'm beyond happy, I get to marry the man of my dreams!!
So I found your website back when I was dating an EUM, and we did the break-up-and-get-back-together thing for awhile, and all that time I was reading and listening to your material, and finally one day I just hit this realization that I deserved so much better than someone who couldn't make up their mind about me. The next time we broke up I was
just completely done and it was like a switch flipped. Then I met my now fiancée only a week later, and from the beginning everything was completely different. The first year was still hard for me because I had so many old bad habits and fears to shed, but I listened to your lectures every time I was feeling shaky, and it totally worked.
He is crazy amazing. We have been together 3.5 years but I still pinch myself every day. Like I can't believe this
is how my life turned out, considering how hopeless I felt 4 years ago.

What is salvation?
Salvation isn’t some kind of a mythical hereafter or paradise that most people concoct in their mind involving an omnipotent savior of some sort who is jealous and needs to be worshipped, else they go to hell
forever and ever. That is a very infantile view of salvation. Salvation or Great Liberation is simply a term when mental defilements and the suffering that follows that is deeply embedded in human conditions has been transcended. The only way to the end of suffering is when the “I” has been seen for its true nature, when the splintered personality or split mind has been healed to integrate every part of one’s humanity and when duality is fully
embraced.
Two people in relationships bring their own stories, and thus their own projections. Projections are the result of not knowing our own dark sides. An emotional unavailable person, for example, may project their own emotional unavailability all the time on their partner, totally unaware that it’s them who have been emotionally unavailable all along. It’s the same with every trait we are strongly reacting against. The difference
between judgment and discernment is in our emotional reaction so beware of it.

reaction to what you see, you are judging. That is your signal that you have an issue inside of yourself - with yourself - not with the other person. If you react to evil, look inside yourself for the very thing that so agitates you, and you will find it. If it were not there, you will simply discern, act appropriately, and move on.” ~ Gary Zukav The content of our consciousness is the past. To empty the content of your
consciousness is to die to the past. Surrendering to the moment is to die to the past. Surrendering to the moment is to do without accumulation. The accumulation of memories and past hurts is why relationship becomes hard over time. Thus the ability to stay present is the most important skill to learn in relationship so it can flourish and deepen.
So your partner is a place for you to see your own dark sides, the sides that are hidden from
you, the sides that have been denied, repressed and totally disowned. The sides that are waiting to be reintegrated to make you a whole person, no longer a fragmented and chipped self. Then you become an expression of love, a total surrender to everything that is. The relationship has evolved into a spiritual one, no longer a physical and emotional one only.
