You Too Can Be Awake In The Dream

My parents are here with me visiting from Indonesia and I love spending time with them. Just seeing them around the house and in the kitchen brings such immense joy into my heart. My mom is especially precious because she's an avid cook and I feel so pampered being able to eat home-cooked meals every day. My mom, hands down, is one of my most favorite people in the world cause she's so easy to be with (that's the essence of feminine energy that I teach). Sh's the rock and the glue in our family as well.

She's my Queen (other than Freckles Olivia that is). I can't be blessed with a better mother. I so love and cherish her.

One night last week when three Phang family members were visiting from Holland (which is why I transported my parents early so they could spend time together as my father in his 20's came to live and work at the Phang's Indonesian restaurant "Djago" in Amsterdam for a few months), I was just hit with this weird feeling...like I was in a dream.

We were in the kitchen conversing while my mom was standing over the stove cooking for everyone. Something hit me, many years ago while I was still living at home in Indonesia, this kind of scene would or could only appear in one of my many dreams about owning and living in a big beautiful home. And the fact that I was with the people that mattered so much to me in a house more beautiful and larger than my wildest dreams considering my very modest childhood living in a teeny weeny dingy house my father bought as our first home and in a country of my dreams as a child far way from my birthplace, hit hard on me....like is this even real?

I said, let me pinch myself to see that I won't wake up the net day in my old life.

I couldn't even utter the gratitude that washed over me in that very moment. My God, that was one of the most beautiful moments filled with appreciation in my life.

Back to my parents, I'm so blessed that I still have both of them relatively healthy and able to travel so my mission in life is to show them the world till they can't do that anymore. Both of them love to travel just like myself and I have a perfect job (well, in fact I don't have a job at all, I just have a handsomely paid hobby) that allows me to do it at the drop of a hat. So we've been spending time with one another every few months around the world since 2015.

And I have a partner who doesn't share my passion in traveling (cause he has to be home for his 9-month baseball season every year...yep his religion is baseball and his Church is the Yankees) but doesn't mind that I do that a lot and it actually works just fine for us cause my trips are where I have my me time (in which I don't have to follow his lead and can do whatever I want) and we have our space from each other, not to mention that now we have a dog that can't be left home alone.

So I'll be taking my parents to Maui on the 4th for a week. It will be our first time.

Life is great. I'm so in love with life. And it's only possible when you are free from mind dis-eases which is what suffering is all about. The state of being free from mind dis-eases and mental defilements is what enlightenment/liberation/salvation is all about.

So after my awakening, the mind gradually recedes into the background, replaced by non-dual awareness that witnesses every fluctuation and movement in the mind space. I'm aware 24/7 and thanks to that I am in total control of my sacred temple: my mind space without any effort of controlling it.

These days I can say that I'm a no mind person. The mind is where you burn all your calories so you become lethargic and depressed. The mind is the trash. When you breathe, eat, work, sleep in the trash, why do you wonder you are dying inside? Drop the mind and you will conserve this vast reservoir of radiant energy and true intelligence, ready to use at your disposal.

I don't get depressed or stressed out anymore. There is no more self to get depressed and stressed out.

What is a split or a duality? When you think you should do something else than what is necessary. The conflict is the split. The thinking of having to do a certain thing is what ego is. Your capacity to witness this duality (your true self) is the beginning of the merging between your false self (your ego) and your actual self (the fluid self responsive to the moment).

Do not believe, respond instead. Belief is in the way because it's of the mind. Responding is bypassing the mind, it's direct, honest, spontaneous and necessary. Responses are the way of science. Science is alive. Belief is the way of dogmas. Dogmas are dead.

Stage of consciousness is very much determined by to what extend you believe in your thoughts. The stronger you believe in every single thought you have the less conscious you are. Your reality is very restricted by your belief system. Blessed are those who live life with no belief whatsoever. They're not cuffed by anything. They're free as a bird.

The effect of no mind and the total surrender is that the way I conduct my business is very feminine. I don't follow typical masculine goal driven method of success. No goals, no plan, no struggle. In fact those 3 are why you are exhausted before you actually do anything. Wei-wu-wei (effortless effort) springs out of necessity.

Every step to take is clear in the midst of it, not prior to it. You do it as it becomes obviously necessary. Then you let go. You do a lot without having a trace in your consciousness as "having done a lot" cause you carry no memories of it. No memories of anticipation as plans and goals do. No memories you have exerted yourself as you did. You are always fresh and charged moment to moment.

Slow down and smell the roses. Don't chase growth. Growth happens organically and the strongest growth is the organic one, not growth induced by ambition and relentless pursuit of the future and the next best things. Real knowledge doesn't come from the mind. Real knowledge comes from the silence of the mind. Real knowledge comes from intuition. And intuition doesn't come to the surface when it's blocked by mundane thoughts that is the default mode of the vast majority of people's mode of consciousness. This mode of consciousness is rife with inner conflicts, shoulds, resistance and suffering.

Only when the mind is in the state of total surrender one can begin to truly live in the world, not in their subjective reality or the world of their inner perceptions.

Whatever I teach and share with you is what I gain through inner work, not through parroting anyone's experience without being supported by my own direct seeing/experience.

My success isn't separate from my evolution. My success is because I have transcended the mind.

It's not through ambition which is the ego.

I'm completely healed hence I can help heal you. Only a truly healed fully integrated person can heal others because they no longer have stuff that is in the way of direct seeing that can potentially jeopardize their clients' healing.

What does being healed mean? Being healed is being free of all mental defilements that are brought about by unskillful thinking. So it's the mind that is steady and centered cause it's no longer lured by any attachment or grasping to anything. A dreamy mind, on the other hand, is a mind that is sleepwalking following its object of attachment/desire hence a dreamy mind is subject to intense suffering cause it's deeply unconscious.

It's not a brag when I say that I have overcome all psychological and emotional sufferings (some of you based on your own limited experience would like to make that assumption cause your cup is full) but rather it's a fact. It's my reality. And it's your problem and prerogative to think whatever you want to think if that suits you.

I don't seek anyone's approval and I don't need it. I'm over that crap. Approval is for the ego. Wen the self has dissolved what is left is the Universal Mind and it will speak the way it sees fit whether or not anyone approves.

When the self has dissolved you are a mere instrument of Consciousness.

And you can too (be over that crap). I will show you to the way as I have been doing to tens of thousands of you every single day.
