It's important for me to share
this story because I read the engagement stories here in the past and received so much 🧚♀️inspiration - I hope this does the same for at least one of you.
I discovered Kat 🤟3 years ago, which is when I also started dating my EUM now fiancé. I started simply reading her blog on a daily basis. Life in general seemed to be in a rut and I liked reading what she wrote because it was more about personal accountability rather than tactics to manipulate a man.
My
man is basically a 👌catch. He's successful, handsome, intelligent and has a great sense of humor. He had a plethora of women to choose from and was taking full advantage of his options. ☝️One major thing I learned from Kat early on is that men are not wired as we are to couple up right away - and they have a bunch of reasons why, but the why should not be your 😞concern.
I shifted my mindset from wondering why he wouldn't want me, to a mindset with more
understanding that as a logical human being he was simply pacing to make sure we were right together - and I should want to know that too!
After 3 months of dating he basically told me "we do not feel right" lol!!!! It was hard not to go to the brink and want answers from him, but I listened to Kat and allowed him to be free on his journey. I was done being desperate and wanted to transform myself into someone high value.
He dated around and even threw his ex in that
mix. Between the 3 -7 month mark I saw him about 2 times a month. I wish I started on the rotation bandwagon earlier, but I eventually got one going. I had moments where I wanted to call him and be the initiator - did I have to work on myself to resist doing this? Yes.
He claimed me a year later (which probably would not have taken so long if I had the rotation sooner). There was still a lot more boiling to be done: he kept in touch with a few exes, he still occasionally acted like
he was single and made selfish choices and he was not treating me like a priority. Of course I blew up and we had some fights along the way, but overall it was a huge lesson for me to continue growing and not try to control him.
I turned to this group for support. Ladies, he has done a complete 180. If you asked me a couple years ago if I could have ever imagined him treating me as he does now I would not have been able to at all.
Sunday night he took me somewhere
beautiful where we could see the entire skyline of Manhattan and he proposed. He mentioned over a year ago that even if we were married he would not wear a wedding ring. I did not make a big deal out of it. Yesterday we went to look at wedding bands and he found something he liked and said "I can see myself wearing this everyday."
So am I saying don't believe what a man tells you? No, but I am saying take what they say in stride IF there are other factors in play that give you
reason to believe there could be something deeper there. Don't fall for a man too soon and don't think he's the only man on earth.
I purchased Kat's book and some other audio programs. The big thing is that trying to control everything is exhausting and it is something I will need to continue to work on. What's funny is that I feel like my inner work has only just begun. Thank you to all the women that ever chimed in on one of my threads and thank you to the great ladies who were there to support me in private messages.

Her journey confirms -yet again- my rare insight into the nature of men unheard of anywhere else. If you go anywhere else for advice, these "experts" will tell
you her man is an emotionally unavailable man, not that into her, a time waster, a narcissist or just bad news in general.
