The Ugly Reality Of Copycats In The Business

I just returned to California yesterday after spending a month in Asia spending time with my bff and parents. We closed November with a huge bang. At the same day I was announced by FB that I'm qualified for Facebook Watch (which means my videos have a lot of tractions and are quite popular across FB so they will help circulate them further), my accountant also accepted the full time job offer with the company (here's the first FB Watch class that I uploaded).

So I will no longer work alone next year which means I have an additional brain and pair of hands. I don't take hiring very lightly. My style of running this business has been very intuitive and feminine. If I hire someone full time that means I have to feel right about her in and outside the professional context. We have been friends as well since Joe introduced me to her to do my taxes in 2013.

She, like Joe, has been witnessing my incredible evolution. And I have no doubt we'll grow and grow and this legacy will continue long after I'm gone. She and my new coaches will make Katarina Phang a household name. That's my only wish: to help mankind transcend their neuroses and, thus, their suffering.

I've come this far working on my own with the impact I have in the industry. I think it's a pretty remarkable accomplishment but it's time for me to open a new chapter and begin to delegate and spread out a lot of things I have learned the last 8 months on my own (without business coaching nor following any formula) to a select people I trust and have had great relationships with over the years.

That's how I run my business: I base in on relationships (feminine), instead of goals (masculine).

We're going to have our 6th class next weekend and the subject will be on how I had this breakthrough working on my own and the reality of copycats in the (every) industry.

Yup I have mentioned several times about my copycats before. Now I no longer will just pussyfoot about it but we'll meet a lawyer next week to deal with it because it's getting out of hand. All the successes I have gained, they don't come without challenges. These days this is my hardest challenge.

You see, I never considered other coaches, especially the ones before me or those who showed up around the same time I did, as my competitors necessarily. You know why? Cause we're all so different. I in fact consider them as my partners in crime. And I'm supporting of anyone authentic even though when their messages are diametrically opposed to mine. There is a lid for every pot.

But my copycats are my "competitors" because they cash in on the teachings and reputation I have built from scratch through hard work, blood, tears and sweat the last 8 years and they are destroying my UNIQUENESS even with the watered down version of my teachings which in turn will also water down the entirety of my teachings and their impact. Not to mention the victims of their predatorial money grubbing methodology of selling they implement (you see I have never hustled ONCE in my 8 years of career, my programs and products sell themselves because they work).

They came along the last 3 years and conveniently repackage my stuff and style and sell it for a fortune through very manipulative hardselling tactics involving shaming and guilt tripping. They claim to be making 6 figure/month within just 2 years! Mind you I made nothing the first two years before the publication of my ebook.

Then they brag about their accomplishments, one of them claims so many engagements after seeing me do that (and many things she copied through trolling on my page). My results aren't an "idea" to copy. It's a reality. So when someone steals that and makes it into a "marketing strategy" to make a quick buck out of vulnerable women and dupe them to the tune of thousands and tens of thousands of dollar, I OBJECT to it BIG TIME.

Meanwhile, vast majority of my clients only pay less than $200 to get results they want, nothing like what these greedy coaches charge. One of them is actually a former client who also spent less than $200 and got engaged to her EUM before opening her own shop and charging the sacred principles that I teach for a minimum of 3k.

So I will no longer be silent about this. I'm now pointing out the pink elephant in the room. I'm a feminine woman, yet I'm a survivor and a warrior. I have this uncanny ability to turn lemon into lemon martini each and every time. And I know I'll do the same with this as well.

Our third coach is Dasha. She is now married to her (former) rebounding EUM who got cold feet when she found me.

And her baby son is my God son so we've now become a family as well.

Tricia, like Melody, was one of my earliest clients. She has been the admin of my groups for 5 years now and the ladies always treat her as someone to go to for advice.

When she found me she was in a rocky on and off relationship with the father of her kids. At first they got back together for the last time not long after finding me but eventually Tricia knew that if she ever wanted to be married, she would be better off with a new man so in a style that only a Goddess possesses she walked away from the toxic relationship and started a rotation.

That was when she met Steve. Five years later he proposed and they're now happily married with a baby son.

Our other coach is Melody.

She found me in 2012 if I'm not mistaken. That was the year I published my ebook. She was then seeing an EUM and was pretty much a codependent like most of you: filled with anxiety and self-doubts while being so addicted to a lukewarm man.

She got the ebook and I gave her the email coaching that came with the ebook. Months later she was dating a new guy (who is now her husband), not long afterward they moved in and she always told me that she had no intention to marry again or she didn't care about marriage since she has been married for over a decade before.

She's been there done that and wasn't desperate at all for another marriage. She would just be happy in a happy stable relationship which she already had with Craig,

But of course like every Goddess that Kat produces eventually the man would want more of her so on her 50th birthday in August he wed her! She was considered engagement #36 this year even though they didn't get formally engaged first, one of 7 in August!!

The reason I pick Melody as one of my first coaches is because for the most part she really gets me. She's a moderate in most life issues as I am. Anyone who works with and for me has to be somewhat middle of the road and that's the result of GROWTH. One can't be a great relationship coach if one hasn't grown out of any one-sided view of anything.

I'm an exceptionally insightful coach because I'm FULLY integrated. I'm well-rounded. I have reclaimed every denied and repressed part of myself. I have embraced every part of my humanity.
