"Ladies, I've been claimed most unexpectedly and by the most unexpected man in my rotation. This is after
following Kat for about a year and taking the course based on the ebook. Everything unfolded just as Katarina Phang said it would. I just listened, relistened and listened again. I also benefited a lot from my coach, Melody. Here's my story (sorry so long):
I found Kat after a really hard break up over a year ago. I initially wanted to get him back, but followed Kat's advice of a rotation. I also did the Journey Inward, a few other classes and went to the retreat. I was working on myself and having fun testing my progress with my rotation guys.
I'm a single mom, so my rotation consisted of about 2-3 guys and 1-2 FWB. One of them is my now boyfriend (getting used to calling him that, lol). He was the one I considered least likely to turn into a relationship because he's UBER alpha and EUM and wasn't very affectionate or what most of you would consider someone to even go past the first date.
He is also long distant. But, we had a lot in common and I enjoyed his company. Plus, I found he tested my newly found knowledge the most so I kept him in the rotation. There was actually another rotation guy stepping up more than him for a long time.
I started the course based on Kat's book and started working more on my reactiveness and self, as well as looking at my men for who they are, in the moment. I never felt neglected by any of them because I realized that I could accept or reject. I can also downgrade and the options were truly endless looking at the men like this. I found being honey always became second nature.
I visited my LDG about three times and after the third time, he booked a trip to visit me and do a Spartan race with me. However, after the second visit with him, I felt like he was going to fade out as I felt that maybe he wasn't that into me. However, about a month after that visit, he started to text me "good morning beautiful" and "sweet dreams" every night. He would also start texting a lot during the day.
He also would sometimes ask if I was on a date. I would just respond with a smiley emoji or change the subject. I never asked him. Never did I initiate any texts and he NEVER missed a day texting me. The third visit with him was really fun and I felt good coming home. However, I didn't really think it was going anywhere. I didn't care because I had dropped my expectations and had a nice rotation.
About a week before coming to visit me, he asked me out of the blue what I wanted from our situation. I was seriously shocked but told him I enjoy spending time with him. He asked if I was looking for a relationship and I told him that while that would be nice, I was just enjoying time with him. He asked the first night he was here face to face the same question.
He told me that he is hesitant and has been talking to other women. He admitted that one came to visit him right before my last visit. He said his thoughts kept coming back to me. He just didn't want to tell me about the others because he didn't want to hurt my feelings. I told him I completely understood and that he's single so he should explore his options. He asked if I was seeing others and I told him I was.
All weekend, he kept asking and dropping hints about us becoming exclusive. I told him to ask me when he was sure. And that's just what he did before he left. He also tagged and posted a picture of us on Facebook, something he NEVER does as he's very private. He's also so much more affectionate and he told me today that he's happy he moved quickly (it wasn't really as we were talking for almost a year lol) so no one else snatched me up.
This whole situation unfolded exactly as Kat says. Trust the process ladies. It works. This man was totally not looking or ready for any kind of relationship when we met. It works with every man."
