The unified mind becomes very quiet and sees no need to debate nor fight. Whatever the mind seeks the mind discovers, so once the mind sees itself it becomes silent. The schizophrenia has been cured.
That's the short explanation of it. This unfortunately is hard to be accessed from just the intellectual level. You will need a self-realized teacher who can help you see your own ego movement. And these kind of teachers are far and few between because this kind of self-knowledge is so elusive to the vast majority of population.
